The 1994 Eagle Talon, particularly the models equipped with the 2.0L turbocharged engine, can interchangeably use transmissions from the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Mitsubishi Galant of similar years and specifications. Specifically, the AWD and FWD versions of the DSM (Diamond Star Motors) platform, which includes the Eclipse and Talon models from 1990 to 1999, are compatible. Additionally, some transmissions from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I and II may also fit, depending on the specific setup. Always verify compatibility based on the specific model and drive type before proceeding.
yes
No, it is not standdard
no. 94 is 1g 95 is 2g (first and second generation). also differences between fwd and awd exhausts
All motors and transmissions are interchangeable with each other from the years 90-94, it only boils down to Model and drive setup, such as AWD vs FWD. The only difference I have seen with the 4g63 and 4g63t engines is the oil run off tube and oil feed tube for the turbo, other than that there doesn't seem to be any other differences so to a degree, yes. they are interchangeable
trans side of engine bay. follow the fuel rail inlet line.
Short answer Chrysler Family of Cars (88-94), Eagle Summit and Talon(90-94), Hyundai (89-99), Mitsubshi (86-94) Long answer follow the link
You need to purchase the appropriate turbo kit for your vehicle and follow the install instructions or have a mechanic install it for you.
It will if its the same model type, say Esi to Gs, Tsi to Gsx, Tsi Turbo To Gst, check out some dsm forums and they should be able to tell you
If you are asking about a Winchester Model 94, no- they are not interchangeable except with the services of a gunsmith.
ALLLLL 2g Turbo DSMs, (95-99 Eclipse and Talon) have the 7 bolt motor.UNLESS someone swapped in a 6 bolt from a 90-92.5. I have read that the 92.5-94 had a 7 bolt as well but I can NOT deem this valid.yes the 92.5-94 have a seven bolt main too
nope only 95 to 99
They both will be good part cars, the difference between laser and talon are bumpers, wheels, and steering wheel logo. make sure they have same engine size and engine model (turbo or not). The 94 will have a newer version of the 2.0L so things like dipstick, axels, head (bolt pattern), pistons, rods, crankshaft, timing setup, oil pan.
