The 1994 Mercury Capri typically uses the Mazda-based 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission option. The Mazda G-series manual transmissions found in various Mazda models from the early 1990s can interchange with the Capri's manual transmission. Additionally, some components may be compatible with other Ford or Mazda vehicles of that era. Always verify specific part compatibility based on the vehicle's engine and transmission code.
Will the F27a & the F2ta transmissions interchange in a 1994 F-150
1994 and 1995
NO it will not. Reason is that in late 1999 Chevy REDESIGNED all the engines and transmissions. Nothing from late 1999 will interchange with anything from 1999 and down.
NO the computer system on those 2 years are different ( Transmissions ) Won't interchange.
95 to 98 2.2 will all interchange
YES they are the SAME transmissions. DIRECT BOLT IN SWAP. Just remember that 4-wheel and 2-wheel drive transmissions will NOT interchange.
