This could be caused by anything try Lucas oil treatment this may help it's worth a try
Could be lifters or anything, maybe the crankshaft OWWW! Are you sur it's internal Motor Noise? Timing Chain? Buy a cheap Stethoscope (I have one in the Trunk lol) to be sure. Also, try a thicker Grade of oil like 20W50 if you haven't already, this MIGHT quiet it up. Also, if you have $10W30 or 40 in there, try a bottle of Lucas' Oil Treatment. They make superior Lubes and Oils, that are Miracleworkers in most. There Transmission Treatment works GREAT! Try 20W50, as this is the most enexpensive route.
Yes It would if its 2.3L engine size. Also, fits Oldsmobile Achieva of same year. Thanks
probly not
does my 1996 pontiac ga stall out in park
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
Why wouldn't it? There is NO difference between a 1999 and a 2000, as of right this second i have a 1999 Pontiac grand am with a 3.4 liter (what your looking at right now) and built it from ground up. I know plenty about cars.
Try putting the pedal to the floor while cranking it
its missing 4 cylinders sir!
collapsed lifter?
TPS sensor or maf. I seafoamed my entire car seemed to do the trick
A bad fuel pump can cause your 1998 Pontiac Grand Am engine to randomly stop running. The fuel pump might be working at times and then at other times not working.
The computer won't work properly if you do. The engine would be the simple/inexpensive part. The computer and rewiring would be cost prohibitive.
No.
