There are 4 which are located underneath the car close to the gas tank. It is very expensive to replace them all, which you may have to do because mose places will not be able to test your vehicle to see which one is bad. You can get them converted to just two at any muffler shop and it will be less expensive. You can take your old ones and sell them and get at least half your money back for the repairs. I think there is platnium in them. I know because my husband just had his done so it would pass inspection. Good luck.

It is located on the side of the engine block. If you have a code for a knock sensor and you have a noise in the engine, it will set the code. That does not mean that the sensor is bad. They very rarely give problems.
The transmission position sensor on the 1994 Crown Victoria can be replaced by first disconnecting the battery. The transmission sensor is located on the driver's side of the outer casing to the transmission. Unplug the old sensor and plug in the new one, then connect all of the wires to the new sensor, one by one. Then reconnect the battery.
