The spare Tyre is located under the rear of the vehicle by means of a winch mechanism. To remove the spare use the jack handle to rotate the nut which is located under the plastic cover at the centre-rear of the cargo floor area, just inside the lift gate opening. Fit the jack handle over this nut and rotate to the left until the spare is on the ground with enough slack cable to allow you to pull the tyre out from under the vehicle. When the tyre is clear the retainer at the end of the cable and pull it through the centre of the wheel. Hey presto one spare wheel!
