a bad fuse of a faulty switch.
It happened to my Buick after I put in Stereo. The insulation was off one of the stereo wires causing a short which killed my dash lights. The stereo worked. My dash lights didn't.Check your radio wires and make sure its not grounding out.
check the fuse
I was putting in a new stereo in my car and i was pushing with a screwdriver to pushing the wires throw i cause the lights interior not working and the clock keeps going back one oclock when turned off and car door bleeper and stereo not work at all You probably blew a fuse, check the fuses.
the fuse is blown. they are on the same fuse
i currently have the same prob...to my understanging the stock stereo runs along with the dash lighting, so did you remove the stock stereo? also check fuses on the driver kick panel
Check your fuses! If they're all good I would next check the wireing on your stereo. I had a loose wire once back there and it made my instrument cluster's lights not work when I had the headlights on and I had to guess my speeds at night.

I remove my stereo from my GMC Truck and now my lights don't work
if they both stop working at the same time its a fuse 99% sure
the stereo is probably done. it would probably cost more money to have the stereo looked at than to buy a new radio.
An instrument like handbell but used in electricity and stereo.
I spliced mine in to the power wire on my raido. now if you had in installed go back and have them fix it.
