You probably have a bad Electronic Control Module. They are notorious for going bad.
it could be the control module
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
You didn't mention whether you've changed the coil wire itself. If it's faulty, you'll get no spark anywhere. Also, the power supply to the coil or module could be at fault.
Is it a brand new distributor ? If not then replace the module and pick-up coil in the distributor that you have.
are you sure your not getting spark, if your not i had the same problem and i chased it to the plug on the coil, it looked good but when i pulled the wires i found them bad. make sure its a spark problem, i also had a fuel issue but my fuel pump was working fine, turned out to be a bad return regulator on the fuel rail.
Defective electronic control module.or maybe starter
If a 1988 full-size Bronco has fuel but no spark, potential causes could include a faulty ignition coil, a defective ignition module, or issues with the distributor. Additionally, problems with the crankshaft position sensor or wiring/connectors could disrupt the spark signal. Checking for proper voltage to the ignition components and ensuring all connections are secure can help diagnose the issue.
Start with distributor cap/rotor, spark plugs and spark plug wires.
Why start with the module? The coil is is a good place to start. Make sure of course you have voltage at the coil, if not trace it back.
do you have fuel pressure. engine should start and run with spark on only one side.
