Many Jews were in business and successful sooooo..... Hitler blamed the Jewish businessmen for causing the depression. It had to be their fault because they were bankers etc.... Also the Germans were down and out and had a low self worth after WW1 so they were prime for the picking when Hitler's Propaganda machine told the German people "they were good, It wasn't their fault it's the Jews". This made the Germans feel better even though it wasn't true. They so badly wanted to be considered strong proud people on their way up, not the failures that got beat up in WW1.
