There is a spot below the walls of the fort; I think that it's on Boulevard Champlain, where there is a plaque commemorating the shooting of Benedict Arnold. At the fort above, there is a gun slit in the wall that would provide a good view of the plaque below, except that some time in the last two centuries, someone planted a tree that obscures the view.
