Dr. Beeching was the person responsible for destroying British Rail in the 1960's with his short-sighted solutions to very real problems. He closed half of the railway lines, many of them could have been useful now as alternative routes during engeneering works etc.. Many branch lines that he closed served large villages that turned into towns in the 1970's and 80's with real needs for railway stations. Beeching was not all bad The Beeching era saw the introduction of the equal interval Inter City passenger train services, Freightliner container services and the breaking down of old railway company prejudices. Don't forget that 4,000 miles of railway had already been closed before Beeching came on the scene and lot a more was closed after he left. Why do you call British Railways by that Beeching invention British Rail?

An enslaved person is a slave. Furthermore, to my knowledge at least, an enslaved person is a person who has been forced into slavery against their individual will by some external deliberate force.

When they deposit money
It is called Deposit
A person could the interest rates for certificates of deposit by using an interest rate calculator where the amount of the deposit is entered into an equation and the end result will be how much interest will be earned for the term you want.
Business deposit slips are used for the person who is depositing money into an account. The person writes down how much money they are depositing into a certain account, the account number, and the name on the account. The deposit slip just shows the person that the money was deposited in the account and it provides a form of a paper trail in case the person needed it.
No. A Deposit Certificate cannot be sold. It can only be cashed by the person who took the deposit certificate so buying it would be a bad idea because if anyone else tries to cash the deposit certificate, the bank will not pay them.

Unless it is stated in writing that the deposit is refundable, it typically isn't. The person accepting the deposit has essentially removed the car from the market and may have missed another sale because you had made the deposit, which was your promise to purchase the vehicle.
