I have Two of his works on my wall at this time.
I do have some paper work with it from Maxwell Galleries. LTD. with the the bill of sale date of October 23, 1959. Bill of sale had a total of five paintings on it at the time, all five had a price of $1,500.00 dollars. Total of $7,500.00 dollars. That was alot of money back then.
I also have another set of papers from Maxwell Galleries. LTD. with a Insurance appraisal with a date of December 23 1987. Appraisal has a value for the "Tahitian Innocence" $7,500.00 dollars. I also have it for the "Maori Chieftan" same value $7,500.00 dollars.
I also just found a reprinted from playdate September 1961 on the back of the "Maori Chieftan" painting. It is about his life and "HE PAINTS ON VELVET" with Charles Mcphee autograph to someone in June of 1962. don't know where it came from. its just two pages taped together. I wonder if this is the original "Maori Chieftan" I have!
No telling what its worth now. I have called, and tried to track down this Maxwell Galleries LTD. To do another appraisal and was told no can do, not really doing that type of work anymore or something along the lines of that.
This is all I know about his paintings. mine are in perfect shape not a flaw in it for being velvet from 1958 and 1959. That's the dates on the paintings.

No, have not. But Banksy is pretty well known these days. I own a painting of Paksy dated 94 (Probably 1994). It is a still nature of glass jars and gold and brass bowls. Very realistic. I am interested to know who he is and even to get in contact with him. I know also that one of his paintings signed 77 was sold by Bonhams in England in September 2011. Please contact me if you have information to jlaberge@rocketmail.com Thank you! Note that the two paintings I am talking about are very similar. Very beautiful.

Anyone interested in Ruth Dicker paintings should email: ruthdickerpaintings(at)gmail(dot)com to get in contact with her grandson. Replace the (at) and the (dot) of course. I'm not sure if wiki answers will let me post that email. But if it does, I'm always interested in talking to people about Ruth Dicker paintings and can send you some links of paintings.
