also make sure the e-brake is disengaged From the rear of the backing plate, remove the brake shoe adjusting slot cover and insert a screwdriver or a brake shoe adjusting tool and back off the star wheel by prying downward with the tool. Until you have removed the pressure from the brake shoe's then pull the drum off. Open trunk and remove screws that secure light assembly to car. Pull assembly straight back to remove from car. Remove the dead light and replace with proper new light. Install in reverse order of removal.
under the hood on the driver side in front of the brake booster

On the rear wheeels. some have a special drum inside the rotor and some use the caliper.
You can access the middle brake light from the inside of your 2000 Dodge Neon cargo compartment. Remove the brake light wiring harness. Remove the brake light retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new brake light.
remove the 2 screws from the red plastic and gently pry the red cover off.
There is a third screw between the brake light and the bumper.

To remove the rear brake drum from a 1999 Isuzu NPR, first ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported on jack stands. Remove the wheel and tire, then locate the retaining bolts or screws on the drum; if present, remove them. If the drum is stuck, tap it gently with a hammer to loosen it, and use a brake adjustment tool to back off the brake shoes by turning the adjuster wheel. Remove inside panel and remove the screws. If there are no screws then pry it out with a screwdriver.
Remove the two screws in the lens. You can remove the entire assembly once you do this.
Remove the two slider screws that hold it in place.
You have to remove the entire light assy. There are some screws that are hard to find but they are there. accessed from the outside 3 in all use a medium length Phillips screwdriver. GoodluckJoe
which door, most of the time you remove the door panel screws and then pull hard you will not brake it if you pull and look you can see plastic keepers attaching the door panel they will pull out but feel like you will brake something, then remove clear plastic car full not to tare then use a flash light you will see the bolts or clips on the out side door handle, or look inside and see door latch remove screws from side of the door with it open. hope this helps work on kia for 4 years.
You will need to remove the 1998 Chevy Camaro brake light wiring harness. Remove the brake light retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new brake light.
Lift the rear hatch you will see 2 torx screws. Remove the screws and slide out the lens. remove corresponding bulb/socket, replace and reinstall.
