i think a few weeks but no offence but lip peircings are stupid
Six to eight weeks or longer, cartilage is the slowest of all piercing to heal due to the lack of blood circulation in that area. So you need to be patient with the piercing and keep it clean other than that it's a matter of time.
It varies from person to person and depends on how long you have had the piercing. If it's under a year and a half (minimum preferably you should wait 2 years) then you should not leave it out for more than a few minutes.
Yees, even though people tell you not to- you can. I changed mine after a week and I've had no problems or pain! just make sure you chase the ring your taking out with the ring your putting in and put some neosporin on the ends of your jewlery, that way it goes through quick and easy (:
It varies from person to person. If you are concerned about it then contact your piercer for advice.
I would suggest you get a PTFE barbell for your navel piercing and wear that for as long as your sports schedule lasts. PTFE is a biocompatible surgical Teflon that will flex with movement and prevent any damage from occurring during contact play, that in concert with taped gauze over the piercing and you should be good to go. Standard jewellery (barbells and rings) don't like impacts and is very rough on the new piercing when it's trying to heal. Getting the piercing sooner than the season start would have been the better bet but for now consider the PTFE as your best option. See your professional body piercer for more assistance.
Depends on how long you've had it, what gauge it is, and how your body heals.
I've heard that the PA is the one piercing that will never fully heal. I've removed my jewelry before. The wound tightened up a bit, but did not look at all as if it would heal.
Your ear takes 6 weeks to heal from a piercing.
How long it takes a smiley piercing, or any piercing to heal up will depend greatly on the care given. Making sure to keep the piercing clean can help it to heal as quickly as possible.
As long as there is jewellery in the piercing the piercing will not scar, it will form new tissue that makes up the piercing. If the jewellery is removed before the piercing is allowed to heal completely this tissue will join together and form scar tissue.
A navel piercing can take anywhere from six months to a year to heal completely.
it cant:P
5 years.
It depends on where you got it pierced.
It takes 6-8 weeks for your frowny piercing to heal.
6 to 8 weeks for a light heal. Keep in mind it's a new piercing and will be a new piercing until it is a year old so if you catch a cold the piercing can swell back up again.
Your professional body piercer should have told you that you can expect to wait 8 to 10 weeks for a light heal and over a year for the piercing to season up and be considered a healed piercing.
