The fan clutch on a 1997 S10 has a bolt on the center of the front. Remove the bolt while holding the clutch still. There is a special tool to grab the clutch fan from the rear to hold it while removing the bolt.
Not hard at all. 6 bolts for the sway bar, and depending on how many links 8 bolts if it is a 4 link, figure 2 bolts per link. ues jack stands to hold the rear axel in place and do it one link at a time. The sway bar cones off in one piece so do that last.
the neutral safety switch can be found by following the clutch pedal up into the bottom of the dash. its usually one or two 10mm bolts, and a connector. super simple to replace, it'll be the ONLY electronic piece connected to the clutch pedal

first undo all the nuts that hold the clutch housing, then remove it. next undo all the bolts holding the clutch in place, remove clutch and put new one in place, replace bolts & tighten them very tight. next screw on the clutch housing (the nuts don't need to be as tight). i have replaced my clutch to 10.5 diemter ,can i re use the morso flywheel/clutch bolts
First you have to remove the fan shroud which is bolted to the radiator and front cross bracket with 10mm bolts. There should be 4 10mm bolts that hold the fan and clutch to the water pump. What you generally have to do is find a way to hold the clutch fan in place, I have used a large flat tip screwdriver in the past. Then you have to loosen the 4 bolts and remove the clutch and fan as a single unit. Once out of the vehicle you should be able to remove the fan from the clutch unit and only replace the clutch unit itself. Hope that helps a little Michael
You will need to remove Transmission, And you will see it in the bellhouseing. 4 bolts hold it in place.
