If the steering gearbox is leaking do you have to replace the whole thing or just get the rubber seal replaced?

There are seals to be replaced but you have to know what you are doing.
Normally there is a repair kit available. You should go to the parts shop and ask for the repair kit.

I assume you mean that it won't STOP leaking. If the leak is coming from the parts you replaced, then there is a defect, or you cross-threaded or failed to tighten something. But the leak may be coming from the rack (the part between the front wheels that the lines go to). THAT is a major job to replace. It could also be coming from a cracked fluid reservoir.

no, check the coolant reservoir 1st, if its full then after car is at operating temp. look underneath and see if any coolant or water is on the ground below the water pump if so the weep hole is probably leaking on the water pump check the componet if all check out it maybe the thermostat fairly enxpensive to replace so i would replace the thermostat and check the temp again but if the water pump is leaking it needs to be replaced
