Is it safe to drive a car with a fuel line leak to a mechanic?

It is not safe to drive a vehicle with a fuel leak, but if this is the only way to get it to be fixed, be careful that the leak is not that bad if you drive it. A trickle is bad, any more than that and driving it would not be advised.

Is it safe to drive car with a transmission fluid leak?

Yes! Just make sure you don't let the level get below minimum on the dipstick. Check the dipstick while the car is running weekly or daily depending on how much you drive. My truck has been leaking for 10 years. Also, adding a good quality "Stop leak" additive actually helps. It won't stop the leak but it will slow it down.

Can you drive a 1991 caravan with a leak in the brake line on the driver side to the repair shop?

The safe answer is probably not. When someone is stepping on the peddle, if you can visibly see fluid squirt out, then don't even try it!!!IF it is a very minor leak you might get by with it, but those things have a bad habit of blowing out at the worst possible time resulting in full loss of braking ability. Even a minor leak indicates a weak spot in the line. When you consider the amount of pressure building up in that line under a hard stop, you will realize that it just isn't safe to try and drive it on any road until it is fixed.I would say that only if the shop is very very close, and the leak is more of a seep then an actual leak would I attempt to drive it to the shop.

Why does your 96 town and country smell like gas from the inside and is it safe for you and your 3 kids to drive it?

If you can clearly smell gas there may be a leak and I would suggest that you have it checked asap. It may be a minor repair but never take chances with a possible gas leak.
