Generally speaking a slow heart rate, also known as bradycardia, is only considered healthy in the young and physically fit. It is hard to answer your question without a full understanding of the Demographics of your husband (i.e. what is his BMI, how old is he, how much cardio exercise he gets in a given week, and if he has any symptoms that would indicate heart problems). In older people and those who are not physically fit bradycardia can tend to indicate a problem with the conduction system of the heart. If you are still concerned you should discuss the matter with your doctor.
This would depend on frame size and height. My children weighed 32lbs and 36lbs at age 5. The boy probably is slim not overweight like many children these days. Some children are picky eaters or very physically active. A food should be introduced to a child at least 5 times.
Well, my husband just had this today. He is going on 54 and is healthy and active. We were told by his cardiologist that his Er should be about 60%. [[User:24.154.41.209|24.154.41.209]] 00:44, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
If he/she is physically active, yes, the resting pulse can be 50 or even a little less.
The Heart Foundation set up JRFH because it raises awareness of heart related conditions whilst encouraging people to be active at the same time. Skipping is a great way to keep your heart healthy!
well heart disease can be passed down in the family, there are ways that you can minimise the risks of heart disease and also have a healthy diet especially for children as they need a healthy diet as they are growing up. If you choose fruit and vegetables daily then you will minimise this risk. Fatty foods will block the arteries leading to high colesterol and heart attacks and strokes. Also eccessive drinking and smoking will cause heart disease in any event. Not all children who's parent have heart disease will get it, it all comes down to healthy eating and staying active.
It can cause you to become more and more overweight, affecting how fast you can run and limits your abilities to be physically active. Of course being physically active can allow you to lose this newly gained weight...
Maintain a balanced diet, and stay physically active.

Well, a bit overweight can be a big problem. I no a girl and she is just the smallest atom overweight and she has that.
One would hope that you don't judge a child who is overweight, and do not comment on a childs weight even if they are overweight - instead as an adult you guide a child through healthy eating and active lifestyle. If concerned your child is overweight talk to your doctor to determine if this is the case, they will also be able to give tips on how best to support the child in getting to a healthy weight.
Diabetes isn't caused by a virus. It is due to the improper working of the pancreas in the job it has making insulin. Risk factors include being overweight or obese and being physically active less than three times a week. Exercise and losing weight would be a good life style to aim for.
Kids can have a healthy life style by staying active both physically as well as active in the community. Kids staying active physically would explicitly mean to limit usage of TVs, and pcs and get more physical exercise. The Activeness in the community may also helps since it can alleviate stress from some kids and is also good for the community.

Energy balance is important for maintaining a healthy weight. The amount of energy or calories you get from food and drinks (energy IN) is balanced with the energy your body uses for things like breathing, digesting, and being physically active (energy OUT):The same amount of energy IN and energy OUT over time = weight stays the same (energy balance)More energy IN than OUT over time = weight gainMore energy OUT than IN over time = weight lossTo maintain a healthy weight, your energy IN and OUT don't have to balance exactly every day. It's the balance over time that helps you maintain a healthy weight. You can reach and maintain a healthy weight if you:Follow a healthy diet, and if you are overweight or obese, reduce your daily intake by 500 calories for weight lossAre physically activeLimit the time you spend being physically inactive
or you will die...
That weight can be just fine or overweight, depending on the condition of the woman. If she has good muscle tone and is quite active, it's probably a good weight. If she's sedentary and weak, she's probably overweight, although not too much. Actually at 5'3" and are finished growing 130lbs is probably a good weight to be healthy. At 5'3" you should weigh around 115lbs but another 10-20 to be healthy so you're perfect.
