Why does your 83 Ford F-150 keep fouling out the spark plugs?

Why does my 83 Ford F150 keep failing out the spark plugs. All of them. If so, it would be the carburetor. That's about the only thing that is going to affect all of them. That's assuming the motor isn't shot and just using that much oil.

How do you fix one of the spark plugs to keep coming out on a ford mustang 2002?

sounds like you have stripped the threads, if so you need a " heli coil " thread repair..and follow directions. those threads will need to be repaired or retapped, and always start the threads on your spark plugs by hand and not with a wrench.

Why is your Mitsubishi L200 diesel engine delays to start?

as it is diesel it needs glow plugs to warm up prior to start up,that is why you get the little squiggle light on ur dash, when that goes out you are ready to start it up...diesel motors don't have spark plugs...compression ignition.so if you keep trying to start straight away you will only end up replacing the glow plugs.

Do the glow plugs cycle after engine is running?

No they do not, After engine is running there is no need for glow plugs because there is enough heat in the cylinders to warm the fuel. The glow plugs are designed to heat up the cold diesel fuel on start up only. Actually glow plugs will cycle briefly after engine start up to keep the cold fuel from bringing down cyl temp until the engine warms up. A power stroke will keep glow plugs on for up to 180 sec. A chev will run considerably less I believe.

Why does my 1986 ford bronco not start when warm?

Look at the Electronic Control Module. If it is the module type that looks like a dull aluminum box with 2 or 3 plugs to it, these are problematic; Replace it and keep a spare with you at all times.Look at the Electronic Control Module. Is there a problem with 1997 Ford trucks back spark plugs?

There is most definitely a problem with the spark plugs on the Ford Triton 5.7 V-8. The problems range from plugs that you can't remove to plugs that blow right out of the head. When that happens, it takes the threads with it. Do a search for Triton spark plugs. Rick I'm a retired ASE Master/L-1 Technician. I still keep current with the latest automotive technology.
