The many Nazis believed that there would be a second revolution because they felt that it was a requirement for the Nazi ideology to be fulfilled. Since the first revolution was a success, the Nazis wanted to entrench the party's official socialist program.

Exactly, especially Goebbels & Roehm.

Goebbels was intersted in nationalizing industry & Roehm saw a "new peoples army led by the SA with himself as its leader.

Hitler had no such plans..... it resulted in the death of Roehm. Goebbels forgot socialism....he knew he could not challenge Hitler.
