Top end engine maintenance refers to the care and servicing of the upper components of an internal combustion engine, including the cylinder head, valves, camshaft, and timing components. This maintenance typically involves inspecting, cleaning, and replacing parts as necessary to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues like oil leaks, poor combustion, or loss of power. Regular top end maintenance can enhance engine longevity and efficiency, making it crucial for high-performance or older vehicles. It often includes valve adjustments, gasket replacements, and checks for carbon buildup.
