Seriously, something probably wore out or broke in the lock mechanism, or maybe the key is too worn to be useful. If you have a remote trunk opener thingy, you'll be able to open the trunk to get at the lock and maybe see what's up. If not, maybe your rear seat back folds down like the one in my '96, in which case, you might be able to crawl in there with a flashlight and get the thing opened so you can work on it. If all of that fails, but you have AAA, they'll send a locksmith to get you into the trunk at least. If all of the above fail, I'm afraid you'll have to call a locksmith and pay him to get into your trunk. He'll probably also be able to fix it for you. Good luck, and let us know what happens, OK?
