It came with dex-cool from the factory.
In 1975 no manufacturer was really recommending a particular coolant. So any good quality antifreeze will do as long as that is all that is in the system. Don't mix coolant types
a 50/50 mix with a good antifreeze i.e. Prestone Zerex etc.
One can mix two different colors of antifreeze as long as they are the same kind. Certain vehicles require anti freeze that is phosphate free. It is best to consult your owners or repair manual for the correct type for your vehicle. It is also not a bad idea to flush your coolant system once in a while. In this case one drains all the coolant and replace it with new coolant. Again consult your repair manual for the proper procedure including burping the system.
its a gas that goes into it not a liquid. You will need to retrofit your car for the new gas as R-12 has been outlawed. The new gas is called R-134A
yes,it can be purchased from the dealership. It is purple in color and has a lifetime warranty so if you use something else i believe Toyota can void the vehicals warranty if you used anything but genuine Toyota coolant when it comes to any problems relating to the cooling system.
