Should be a small groove or notch on the edge of the crank pulley (usually the lowest, largest pulley). There may be one mark or several marks close together and may or may not be accompanied by numbers referring to advancing or retarding spark. When found, sometimes it is a good idea to highlight the mark desired with white model paint or liquid paper or some such to make it easily visible when using a timing light.
