To unlock a Philips Car 400 radio from safe mode, you typically need to enter the correct security code. This code is usually provided in the owner's manual or can be obtained from the car dealership or manufacturer if you don’t have it. Once you have the code, turn on the radio and input the code using the preset buttons. If entered correctly, the radio should unlock and return to normal operation.
Well, darling, to put code into a Philips car 400 radio, you need to enter the security code using the radio buttons. This code is usually provided in the car's manual or by the manufacturer. If you've lost the code, you'll need to contact a dealership or a car audio specialist to retrieve or reset it. Good luck, honey!

THIS RADIO IS "THEFT PROTECTED" WHEN POWER IS LOST FOR WHATEVER REASON THE RADIO IS DISABLED UNTIL THE SECURITY CODE IS ENTERED. THERE SHOULD BE A RADIO CODE CARD (SIZE OF A CREDIT CARD) IN THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL. ENTER THE CODE AND THE RADIO SHOULD WORK....cls
Wot make of radio u got? Reset? Is it working at all or does it need a new security code?
Am afraid the car Philips 400 does not support an auxiliary input. However, you may try putting signals into pins 9 and 10 and using 3 as the ground.
You need to state the radio make and model number as there are some variations. If you look two pages back in the "popularity 7"area,there is a set of instructions I posted for a Philips "car 400".This was a very common radio/cassette player in vauxhalls and may do the job for you.If not, post again with the details and someone will have the info.
There is a Philips screw that you can turn in or out, this adjusts the headlights. Or two nuts holding it in at the top.
The zip code for 400 Chambers Street in Manhattan is 10282.
If this is the original radio as fitted by vauxhall there should be no problem.I had the same on an astra, the previous owner lost the code card.I went to the local main dealer,(Pentagon Derby),they removed the radio and took the serial no. off the set. They then contact vauxhall on your behalf and within about a week, the code arrives.Best to take proof of ownership. This is routine,it happens a lot.
I think its 400
