Shift to 1, set brake, turn ignition off. Use a plastic shim to pry the black shifter housing up off the console. Once loose, move it toward the back of the car. Find the screws that hold in the ashtray or change compartment. Remove those 4 screws and pull this part out. Now find the two screws that hold in the base of the center console fascia housing the heater a/c controls and covering the radio. Remove the screws. Pull the base of the console toward the back of the car. It will pull out of its tabs without too much effort. The climate controls and hazard lights are connected by wires to the console. The radio is mounted in the dash behind the console.
underneath the center console. empty your center console and remove the plastic bin. the amp should be right underneath the bin.
