I am currently in the process of fixing this exact problem on my 92'. What I have done is created a metal bracket to bolt to the underside of the dash and the original column mounting bolt. First I removed the broken mount, by heating a cheese knife red hot and then slicing through the plastic. When I have time I will drill a hole underneath the dash (not visible) to bolt the the bracket in place.
