First you will need to remove the back cover using a coin or anything that will fit into the slot. Once it is open, remove the old battery and replace with a new battery. You will then need to place the battery cover back on using the coin again.
you have to take it to the dealer
The Honda Accord remote key does have a battery.
There is a very small Phillips screw hold the 2 half of the key remote together. Remove that screw and carefully pull the 2 halves apart. Use the correct size Phillips screwdriver or you will round this screw off and then not be able to get it out. Be very careful as there is a tap there that is easy to break. You will then see the battery.

I would try a clock repair shop.
All EX models have key less remote entry. It was a standard feature.
Try this: Turn the ignition to RUN (do not start), press the unlock button on the keyless remote, ignition OFF. Repeat 2x. Turn the ignition to RUN, press the unlock button on the keyless remote twice, the power locks should cycle to indicate successful programming. Turn the ignition OFF and test remote.
Yes, install it exactly like the battery you are removing.
remove screw from base of key with a very tiny screwdriver or take it to the dealership to have it done.
