To remove the in-dash air conditioning vent from a 1994 Hyundai Excel, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, use a flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool to gently pry off the vent cover, being careful not to damage the surrounding dashboard. Once the cover is off, locate and unscrew any screws or clips holding the vent in place, then carefully pull the vent assembly out of the dash. Finally, disconnect any attached wiring or ducts before fully removing the unit.
