To remove the stock radio from a 1994 Hyundai Excel, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. you will need to unscrew your dash and pull off the front plate of your dash, then you will need to unscrew the stock radio, then you will need to go ahead and pull out the adapter from the back of your radio.-Shocker

remove the exterior trim peace that surrounds the outer edges of the radio. Then there should be either two 10mm bolts or four phillip head screws holding the radio in place remove them and gently remove the radio from it slot and then unplug the wire harnesses and antenna in the back of the radio. repeat in reverse to reinstall.
