Do not remove anything from the interior of the trunk, the only thing you have to do is pry out the light assembly, as it is only held in place by prongs. I found that a flat head screw driver (with a towel wraped around it) would get the upper and outer portion started so it can be pulled the rest of the way by hand. You will find that there is a spot for two 3057K bulbs. Warning removing the assembly to fast or with to much force can damage it, so use consistent force while prying it out.
