Because the connector from your headphones is not in the socket, therefore the audio current cannot travel to your headphone speakers, and the headphone will not emit any noise.
You can't. The only way is to simply, just connect your iPod to your computer then sync your songs and play from itunes.
Well if your computer doesnt have a built in speaker system, you can only use headphones or buds to hear it, unless you buy a speaker system that you can plug in.
It should be able to play sounds and all with or with headphones... Try holding down the power button and turn it off completely then, turn it back on. If it doesnt work, try turning up the volume if that doesn't work either than take it to an apple store to see whats going on. ? Have a nice day!
it doesnt have speakers
no it doesnt matter for large house speakers but if you have little speakers hooked up to something small then it will matter.
It has the drivers for Mass Storage Devices, but not the apple ipodservice.exe, Apple Mobile Device Support or ituneshelper.exe is required for recognition of the iPod
because you're an idiot.
It doesnt really matter how far your speakers are from the tower.
I had the exact same problem If your headphones jack doesn't work but your speakers do, Here's how you fix it First, check windows updates and install any missing drivers. Then restart it ONLY when windows update tells you to. Dont attempt to turn your computer off during startup just let it finish updating. then when your computer has finished logging in it should work. If it doesnt, go to control panel then sound and select headphone and click install. If it says headphones not plugged in the is another alternative but only do it if you're completely out of warranty and if you know what you're doing you can open your laptop (i suggest you find a manual online) get a soldering iron and open the headphones jack from the inside and shift the solder wires back into place if the wires are cut, or you do not know how to do it, i suggest you find a technician
There is no way of turning off sound on a page, First i would check to see if it's just facebook and it doesnt have to do with your computer / volume / or speakers. if it is just facebook, i would try closing and re-opening your browser (or just close and re-open the facebook tab) if that doesnt work try loging out and back on (to your computer, not facebook). If it still doesnt work something isn't working right, i would try to contact facebook or check out there help page.
