no you do not need to, but if you are rebuilding the engine i would.
crankshshaft and camshaft position sensors are on the right rear driver side of the engine

there is no timing belt sensor, only camshaft position sensors and crankshaft position sensor.

camshaft sensor is under power steering pump. remove steering pump, then set aside do not remove hoses. sensor is down, remove one bolt that holds sensor in, then pull up on sensor to remove.

change camshaft sensor,it is under power steering pump. remove pump, but do not remove any hoses. set pump aside and sensor is reachable. take out bolt holding sensor then pull sensor out of engine.
You didn't say what size engine you have. But I would have to say that it is a V-8 engine. The sensor will be bolted into the passenger side of the engine BEHIND the starter. You Will Have To REMOVE the starter.
