The 1998 Sea-Doo GTI may experience fuel supply issues due to several factors, including clogged fuel filters, a malfunctioning fuel pump, or issues with the carburetor. If the engine is not starting or runs poorly, it’s essential to inspect the fuel lines for any blockages or leaks. Additionally, stale fuel can contribute to poor performance, so using fresh fuel and checking for water contamination is recommended. Regular maintenance and cleaning of these components can help prevent fuel supply problems.
That is no problem, They are two different sizes and will only go in 1 place.
fuel filter
Fuel supply problem, possible plugged fuel filter or fuel pump failure..
Take out the fuel gauge and fish for the magnet inside the fuel tank. Then disassemble the fuel gauge to replace the broken magnet. Reassemble and replace. Done...
mpg wise, about 1 or 1.5 mpg no boat or seadoo is fuel efficiant
I'm having the same problem...
You need to run checks for fuel and spark on the vehicle to narrow down the root of the problem. Remember: Engines NEED 3 things to run correctly, 1. A clean cool air supply 2. Clean fuel (Pressurized Supply) 3. Strong spark initiated at the right time.
It could be a problem in the air mass or the fuel pump
I had the same problem and it turned out to be the fuel purge censor
I had the same issue about two weeks ago. Turns out the fuel return was the problem.
fuel problem. make sure you have gas of course, check out your fuel pump, injectors, fuel lines etc.
I have a 97 Cutlass GLS and the problem was actually the ignition key. Even the dealer did not know this. I was lucky and one of my two keys works fine.
