The cap should only be 2 screws. You depress, turn 1/4 then they pop off. The rotor is inside & should be a screw or something in the center attaching to shaft.Make sure you know which terminal is #1 & have firing order before you pull wires.

Unscrew the distributor cap (on the drivers side of the engine block), take note how the existing rotor is sitting, remove it, and place the new rotor in the same position. remove the distributor cap and grab the rotor then pull straight up.
It's the distributor rotor that you are looking for & it's under the distributor cap. Remove the distributor cap and there you will find the rotor.
