Take the front grill out, The grille and headlights came off to get at screws at the front end, remove the three plastic plugs under the grill, and remove the splash guard under the bumper, jack up front of car and remove front wheels. Take the majority of inner wheel arch retaining bolts out and fold the front back out of the way (don't take it out completely) Remove the engine under-tray. Remove the two 10mm bolts fixing the bumper to the wing on each side (bit awkward to get to but not too bad). Remove the bumper, note you need to push the sides down first as there is a pin that locates them. Fit the new bumper.... bolts, plugs etc, line up and tighten. Refit everything else.
Remove headlights and grill. grill has a torx bolt each side, and undo retaining clips on the headlights where it clips onto them each headlight has a torx bolt behind at the back under where the wires go in, and 1 torx bolt on the top, and one behind the grill.
under where the grill was there is 2 or 3 black round push clips.
Remove the engine under-tray
No it won't I'm afraid, they're just too different.
The rear bumper of a Mondeo MK2 does not fit a MK1. The two models have different designs and dimensions, leading to incompatibility. While some components may be similar, the rear bumper's shape and mounting points are distinct between the two generations. Therefore, if you're looking for a replacement or upgrade, it's best to use parts specifically designed for the MK1.
yes mate it will no modifications will be needed at all. the zetec -s body kit fits directly onto mk1 and mk2 mondeo's |The "Zetec S" bumper will fit the zetec engined models but will not fit the V6 as the exhaust exit for the V6 is on the right hand side. So in a nutshell Zetec S (RSAP) rear bumper will fit the 2.0, 1.8 & 1.6 models (exhaust on left) and the ST24 (RSAP) bumper will fit the V6 (exhaust on right) It also depends on model of car. Only the Saloon and Hatchback are interchangeable, the estate bumpers are completley different Hope it helps :-)
no i dont think it will they are totally different shape
Nope
To fit a front wing to a Mondeo MK2, first, ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported. Remove any screws or clips securing the old wing, then carefully detach it from the vehicle. Position the new wing in place, aligning it with the mounting points, and secure it using the original screws or clips. Finally, check for proper fit and alignment before lowering the vehicle.
depends on the shape of your mondeo
What ever you do, make sure the new one has the brackets intact that fix it to the wheel arch, i didnt, big problems
just been chating to a bloke around the corner he has a mark 1 mondeo and changed his bumper.Taking it of if fiddley 4 bolts at the bottom and screws at the side. You might have to drop your exhaust a bit to get at bolt
just take the door card off and unscrew the speaker!
