The Oldsmobile Intrigue does not have a timing belt. It uses gears. For cars that do have a timing belt, about 60,000 miles. But remember than some engines don't use one.
A label(black) shows the belt route under the hood on the passangerside strut tower
Just look at your old belt, and draw your own diagram on a peice of paper.
To replace the tensioner pulley on a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Then, use a wrench or socket to relieve tension on the serpentine belt by turning the tensioner pulley counterclockwise. Remove the old tensioner pulley by unbolting it and then install the new pulley in its place, securing it with bolts. Finally, reattach the serpentine belt, ensuring it's properly aligned, and reconnect the battery terminal.
It has a chain.
Put your seat belt on.
