I had this problem on my 1997 aspire which is the same. You need to take a pry bar and just keep working the axle back and forth while turning it to get the circlip to compress and come through (the bearing in the differential was bad in mine so it was very difficult to get mine out, took an hour or so of working it loose a little at a time)be careful not to get overzealous and poke a hole in the aluminum housing with the prybar (as my helper did!)
To change the left-hand CV axle on a 1989 Ford Festiva, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the left front wheel. Next, disconnect the lower ball joint and remove the axle nut from the hub. Slide the axle out of the transmission after disconnecting it from the hub assembly. Finally, install the new axle by reversing the disassembly steps, making sure to torque all fasteners to the manufacturer's specifications.

Buy a new CV Axle Halfshaft and a new axle nut comes with it.
The axle on a 1991 Suzuki Tracker is a semi-floating design, meaning it has a shaft that is supported at both ends but relies on the wheel hub for additional support. To remove the axle to replace the outer seal, first, remove the wheel and brake components, then disconnect the axle from the wheel hub and the differential. Finally, pull the axle out of the housing, taking care to replace the outer seal before reassembling everything.
Th easiest way to change the rotors on a 1990 Ford Festiva is to pay someone. However, remove the tire, remove caliper, remove the hub nut and washer. Remove the rotor from the CV axle. There four bolts on the back side of the rotor, but you may have to press out the rotor bearing. To re-install read backwards
