To remove the sunroof switch from a 1992 Lincoln Town Car, first disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety. Then, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the switch panel or bezel surrounding the switch. Once exposed, unscrew the switch from its mounting and disconnect the electrical connector. Finally, replace it with a new switch if necessary.
To test the sunroof switch on a 1992 Lincoln Town Car, first, ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the "On" position. Then, use a multimeter to check for power at the switch terminals; if there's no voltage, the issue may lie with the fuse or wiring. If power is present, press the switch to see if the sunroof operates; if it doesn’t, the switch itself may be faulty and should be replaced. Additionally, inspect the wiring for any damage that could affect the circuit.

your headlight switch needs to be replaced. My Lincoln had the same problem, it all stems from the auto dimmer feature...replace the headlight switch (mine was 70-100 dollars) and your lights will work fine.
