I need to replace the odometer light on 1998 Mercedes ML 320.
This is how it is done on a Honda Accord and your Element should be the same. Push and hold the odometer reset button in while at the same time turning the ignition switch to the on position without starting the engine. After 5 seconds the light will reset.
my light on the odometer is not working anymore how do you replace the bulb on it
How do you reset 2008 honda element service light?
the srs system is faulty due to a bad seat belt buckle. take your element to the dealer and have them replace it. there is no charge for this service.
Press and hold the odometer reset button in while at the same time turning the ignition switch to the on position. Do not start the engine. After around 5 seconds the light will reset.
Here is how you reset it on an Accord so I would think it would be the same on an Element. Push and hold the odometer reset button while at the same time turning the ignition on without starting the engine. After 5 seconds the light will reset.
With the vehicle off, press the odometer button and move the ignition key to accessories until the light goes off. Release odometer button.
How do you replace the rear brake light bulb on a 2001 Honda civic?"
You can't reset that light...there is no such thing as a 2002 Honda Element...they didn't come out until 2003.
there is no light bulb for the odometer. its a digital display. you have to replace the dash. used usally a 100. or so. had it happen to me. 2000 buick regal gs
Some say the odometer on the Honda Odyssey does not have a bulb and that if the odometer light fails, you have to replace the entire circuit board for the odometer, which costs about $350 from the dealer. That is incorrect. There is a separate backlight for the Odometer - it runs ~$5 but requires ~$100 in labor (1 hr install time) (12/30/08). 7/09 : I changed one in a 2000 Odyssey. I first took off both the left (by power door switches) and right (A/C) panels - these pull/pryl off. Then I took off the long dash unit (9 screws or so). Then I took out the speedmeter assembly (4 screws). and replaced the small black bulb ( $6 at the Honda dealer). The whole job took ~1 hour - was not that hard! You should replace the black bulb in the A/C panel as well while your at it (these twist 1/2 turn)!
