The clutch has two main parts; the master clutch cylinder and the slave cylinder. Follow the line down from the master cylinder to find the slave. Most of the time the slave needs to be rekitted or replaced and then bled. That should fix it.
The clutch master cylindar is most likely leaking. It's literally a hydraulic piston attached to the clutch pedal. It is also possible that brake fluid is leaking from the brake master cylendar and running down the line to the clutch pedal, ending up inside.
Usually, a manual transmission clutch slipping is caused either by oil on the clutch from a leaking rear main engine seal, or it's from a worn clutch. Honda clutches are operated with a hydraulic master/slave arrangement and as such are self-adjusting. Whether it's worn clutch or leaking rear main seal, you'll need to remove/replace the engine or transmission to get to the problem.
your slave cylinder is leaking, need to replace.
Its hydraulic ,you cant, check your slave cylinder to see if its leaking, its located thru a rubber cover on side of transmission,if leaking replace and bleed, also check clutch master cylinder,if not leaking, then you might need a new clutch kit.
your slave cylinder might be leaking, its bolted on your transmission.on a rubber cover.if its not leaking ,u might need a new clutch.
Check the level of hydraulic oil (aka brake fluid) in the clutch master cylinder reservoir. If it is empty you found your problem. Either the master or the slave cylinder is leaking.
Either the clutch master cylinder or the clutch slave cylinder or the clutch hydraulic lines are leaking.
Sounds like a bad master cylinder or slave cylinder. Also make sure you check the clutch fluid it is probably empty. Add fluid and check the next day or so if it is almost empty itis the problem listed above. Also but not probable leaking line. Also check security of clutch master cylinder to bulkhead.(Had a pathfinder with similar problem!)
first check your clutch slave cylinder for leaks, if its leaking ,replace and bleed system,if its not leaking, bleed system ,dont forget to bleed clutch damperand if its still not right, then replace clutch master cylinder.
The gasket to your clutch master cylinder is probably broken or cracked. or your master cylinder is bad.
Check the fluid level in the clutch reservoir. If it is empty you have found the problem. An empty reservoir means you have a leak in the system. It could be the clutch master cylinder, the clutch slave cylinder or a hydraulic hose that is leaking. Any air trapped in the hydraulic system will give the clutch pedal poor performance so, simply filling the empty reservoir may or may not restore the clutch operation.
it sounds to me like a compressor problem. check the belt make sure it's the right size and that it is not sliping. on the electrical side of your question the compressor has a clutch on it which is electrical. the clutch has to activate so the compressor could do its work.(i doubt is the clutch)
