There are only 4 real search engines. Bing.com, Ask.com, Google.com and then Yahoo.com.

All the other such as Altavista.com, Avasearch.com , Aol.com , Clasearch.com , Dogpile.com .....- They all feed out of the 4 big ones.

Don't forget there is safari aswell as the others :D
