If it's anything like my F-250, the newer units come prefilled, also pre-bled. You just push the old one in (towards the transmission) and turn it (counterclockwise). It will come out; then take the new one and push and turn it in, after mounting the fluid reservoir, you get it?... The hardest part was removing and replacing the pin into the clutch foot pedal. Be patient, it's kind of tricky! By the way, I was quoted $750.00, told it was three separate parts, (four and a half hours' work). I did it for $125.00 in about forty five minutes. I figured it out, you can too!
The slave cylinder on my s10 in on the driver side of the transmision. There are only 2 nuts that have to be removed to take the slave cylinder off. Then u must take out the pins to remove the clutch line.. Hope this helps

first take off slave cylinder, it should be mounted on your frame, then take off hoses, connect hoses to new slave cylinder. mount slave cylinder back to frame and bleed ur clutch for f*****g hours.
