Check a few different things #1 make sure your parking brake is released #2 look for mud or rocks stuck in the brake (you may need to remove the wheel and clean it) or # 3 see if the brake shoes or pads if disk brakes are worn out and need replacing.
I don't know the Renault Clio but as a general rule I would examine the brakes first to see if the linings are rubbing when the wheel is rotated backwards. (This applies to disc or drum brakes.)

Could be the bearings.
Frequently the scrapping noise indicates that the brakes need repairing.
A warped rotor makes a scraping noise. The rotor will no longer sit flush with the wheel and what ever it rubs against will create a loud metal scraping noise.
