For a 7-way trailer connector, the right turn signal wire is green. The left turn signal wire is yellow. The ground wire is white. The tail/marker wire is brown. The brake wire is blue. The batter wire is either red or black. The back up wire is purple.
I don't believe there is one. I had to have mine wired in.
I imagine a 2002 would have similar wiring to a 2000 Explorer which I've just discovered myself has 2 fuses dedicated to the factory installed trailer wiring. Fuse #3 is for the left trailer signals and fuse #7 is for the right. Hope this helps someone to avoid all the hassle I went through to figure this out.
Not all 1500's where built with it. If it is there it will be above the parking brake.
, If you are referring to installing a connector that you can use for a trailer hookup there should be a connector already installed a taped up under the van, near the left rear wheelhouse. There should be about 6 wires that are also taped up and are "blunt cut", coming from that connector. You will need a schematic of wiring diagram and a trailer connector (with wires) to know how to splice the wires in. Take Care, Greg
If it does not have a factory installed harness - U-Haul has a kit with instructions to tap into OEM system
I have a 1994 E150 Conversion. But the factory harness is located under the rear of the van to the left hand side and attached to the frame.

If it doesn't have a tow package factory installed, it may not have one. Some vechicals have to be added, if it isn't there you might wanna take it to the shop and have one installed.
The trailer lighting connector is located behind the left side panel in the cargo area. If you use a converter, you can get the connector and pins that mate with the connector in your vehicle from a dealer. Since lighting and wiring vary with trailer type and brand, you should also have a qualified technician install a suitable connector between the vehicle and the trailer. See related link below.
Several different types of connectors are available for a 1995 Tahoe wiring harness. The best connector to use is a connector that has an adapter that works on older trailers. Connect the wires according to color as the colors are universal. Follow the instructions that come with the connector.
Yes, but you need to have the correct trailer hitch and wiring installed. Talk to your local VW Dealer and they can help you with this.
Usually if no trailer package is factory installed then you connect the trailer wiring to the reverse, brake, turn signal and rear lights by splicing into the rear wires for the vehicle's rear lamps wiring. You will have to find them by usually going under the vehicle or find where they run inside the vehicle. Sometimes if you pull out the rear lamp assembly it will give you an idea where the wiring is run in the vehicle. Hope this helps.
