If an ATV isn't cranking despite receiving spark and fuel, it could be due to a weak or dead battery, a faulty starter motor, or issues with the ignition switch or wiring. Additionally, problems with the solenoid or a bad connection in the electrical system might prevent the starter from engaging. Checking the battery voltage, connections, and starter components can help diagnose the issue.
Possibly the crank sensor or the coil pack is dead. But with a dead crank sensor you also get no spark, no crank. No crank equals no fuel delivery.
A faulty crank sensor can do that.
No , it would crank , but if there was no power getting to the electric fuel pump it would not start
Have you checked for fuel and spark? Camshaft sensor and or crank sensor will cause that problem as well!
A faulty crank sensor would cause no spark and no fuel.
make sure your getting fuel to the injectors make sure your getting spark to your spark plugs and wires or coil overs depending whats on the car
i would say because it is not getting spark but i have a 77 cutlass with the same problem so check it for spark
For some reason it is not getting EITHER fuel OR spark , so it cranks but doesn't start
Yes, and so would bad plug wires.
It isprobably not getting fuel or not getting spark.
I would suspect that if it is getting fuel and not starting it would be that it is not getting any spark. If you find that it is not getting spark you could check: Ignition module Crank position sensor Engine control module Associated wiring and connectors
If you have checked the coil pack to make sure it is getting power then it might be the ECU. I would make sure you check the engine codes too.
