Its location is on the bracket behind the clutch pedal, I believe its a brown and white wiring coming from it.
Clutch switches are usually located at the top of the clutch pedal.
The most probable cause is that the clutch is either not releasing; master/slave cylinder not working, or the clutch itself is damaged.
It could be a bad clutch.
The clutch switch is located on the clutch pedal. Right at the firewall. Unsnap the electrial end and there is a peice of plastic if you pull the snaps loose slide it upwards and then just unsnap the switch off the pedal (bar) .
To bypass the clutch safety switch on a 1993 Honda Del Sol, locate the switch on the clutch pedal assembly. Disconnect the wiring harness from the switch and use a jumper wire to connect the two terminals. This will allow the vehicle to start without pressing the clutch pedal. However, bypassing this safety feature is not recommended, as it can lead to unintended vehicle movement and increase the risk of accidents.
i have a 300zx Nissan and i need to replace themultifunction switch i don't know how?

$126 for the whole clutch kit. Clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
Right at the clutch master cylinder reservoir under the hood.
Would not have a neutral safety switch - may have have a clutch safety switch usually located at the upper end of the clutch pedal under the dash area

The clutch safety switch is located at the clutch pedal arm same as the brake light switch but slightly bigger.....To bypass the switch, just disconnect one wire or put a jumper wire accross the 2 wires to the switch depending on how the circuit was designed.......Since it is called a safety switch I won't recommend altering it....
