On most cars theres a switch to turn them on and off automatically after your steering wheel becomes stright aging after using the blinker that could be broke or you have a short some where in your dash
It has been my experience that when the blinker comes on but the lights don't blink there is one or more bulbs burned out. If that is not the case check the flasher.
What causes the dashboard light to stay on after your car has been turned off? 1994 Buick Century.
If they turn on but don't blink, you probably need to replace the signal flasher relay.
It's possible that when you turn your blinker on you are inadvertently pushing the lever forward causing your high beams to come on and stay on.
The hazard and blinker lights are located behind the dashboard tray. To fix the fuse, you unfortunately had to take the dashboard out.
That is correct. On 1987 and later 900s the dashboard lights come on whenever the ignition is switched to ON.
The tail lights are on a separate wiring than the blinker/brake lights. Look for a blown fuse or a broken/loose wire.
cheack the wireing
If you will notice the hazard lights are not actually flashing, reason being, the hazard flasher relay is defective. Replace it.
It is integrated into the hazard switch on the dashboard
If the blinker and dash lights on your 2002 Mazda Protege stay on, it could indicate a faulty switch or a malfunction in the lighting control system. It's also possible that there is a short circuit or a stuck relay causing the lights to remain illuminated. Checking the turn signal switch and inspecting the fuses and relays may help identify the issue. If you're unsure, consulting a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis is advisable.
