I am having the same problem with my 2002 Mazda MPV. I bought it in February from an individual and since then I have had to change the fuel pump 3 times and then yesterday it would not start. I am assuming that it is the fuel pump again because of the way it's acting but there has to be something else causing it to go out every 2 to 4 weeks. Would a bad ground cause it to keep going out? And if the ground is bad would it even allow it to work for a few weeks and then go out? If somebody knows what, please let me know!
sounds like pump is going, install new pump

The Pump Is Located In The Tank. Fuel Keeps It Cool.
Fuel pump relay is stuck. Replace it.
FP is an abbreviation for fuel pump. If the car quits when this fuse blows you probably need to replace the fuel pump if the fuel pump wiring circuit checks okay.
Overload or short in wiring?
