i got a new fule pup for my JOHN DEERe because it wasnt pumping in the fule and now it is pumping way to much so if you could tell me some thing that would be great...
snug them don't tighten them
A fire in the carb.
check the plugs wires and make shure it is getting gas and clean the carb
If it has a carb then it would be in the carb, usually where the fuel inlet is.
onan 25 hp
It has to go throught the carb. Typically this is caused by a bad float. You will need to remove the carb and clean it or replace it.
I assume it has carb's. If so, follow the cable to the carb's. There is a little screw you can tighten to increase the idle or lower it. Just a long screwdriver and watch the tach.
yes, i have done it use the flange from a skidoo and drill the bolt holes out you will need a new throtle cable to match the carb and then just play with the jetting to get it to run right you might need a fuel pump as well the stock carb had a integrated pump that was junk
there is a little screw on the back of the carb. if you loosen it, it will idle slower, tighten it, it will idle faster.
Silicone you buy at your local parts store or hardware store will be eaten by gasoline. There is an RTV gasoline resistant silicone. A Google search will give you results as to where to buy it.
Diesels never had a carb, they are all injected in some form or fashion. If you were to run a diesel with a high concentration of gasoline, you will find it does not run well if at all, and it can cause damage to the injection pump.
Yes. CARB (California Air Resource Board) is the reason there's ethanol in gasoline in the first place. When it comes to cleaner burning fuels at the expense of fuel efficiency and engine service life, California has led the way on that.
