1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, drain the cooling system, and release the fuel system pressure.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the throttle position sensor, exhaust gas temperature sensor, coolant temperature sensor, etc.
3. Label and disconnect the hoses from the throttle body, the EGR valve, the EGR control solenoid valve, the intake manifold collector, the power control solenoid valve and the power valve actuator (if equipped with a manual transaxle).
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body.
5. Remove the intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts and remove the intake manifold collector.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the crank angle sensor and the power transistor.
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
9. Disconnect the fuel injector assembly from the fuel lines.
10. Remove the fuel rail-to-cylinder head bolts.
11. Remove the fuel rail assembly from the engine.
12. Remove the intake manifold-to-engine bolts, in sequence, by reversing the tightening sequence.
13. Lift the intake manifold from the engine and discard the gasket.
14. Clean the gasket mounting surfaces.
15. Install the intake manifold and torque the intake manifold-to-engine bolts and nuts.
16. Torque the intake manifold bolts and nuts in two steps as follows:
Torque all bolt-and-nut combinations to 26-43 inch lbs. (3-5 Nm).
Torque all bolts 12-14 ft. lbs. (16-20 Nm).
Torque all nuts to 17-20 ft. lbs. (24-27 Nm).
17. The balance of installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
18. Using a new gasket, install the intake manifold collector and torque the intake manifold collector-to-intake manifold bolts to 12-15 ft. lbs. (16-21 Nm).
19. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
20. Refill the cooling system.
21. Start the engine and check for leaks.

The knock sensor on a 1990 Nissan 240SX is located on the engine block, specifically on the left side near the rear, typically below the intake manifold. It is positioned to detect engine vibrations and send signals to the ECU for ignition timing adjustments. To access it, you may need to remove the intake manifold or other components for better visibility and reach.
The intake manifold on a 1990 Acura Integra connects to the head of the engine. Loosen all of the nuts from the manifold to the head, disconnect the throttle body, vacuum lines, fuel injectors and coolant lines then pull the manifold from the head.
this is crazy as hell but,the starter is under the intake manifold directly in the center of the motor.so remove intake manifold and then remove and replace starter.not hard ,just time consuming.
YES
The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor on a 1990 Nissan 300ZX is typically located on the intake manifold, near the throttle body. You may find it mounted on the driver's side of the engine, attached to the intake plenum. It's a small sensor with a connector plugged into it, usually positioned for easy access when performing maintenance.
you have to take the throttle body support bracket loose. it is under the bottom mounted to the engine. you cannot remove it otherwise. I know as i did the same.
To remove the upper intake :Remove the H.O. 5.0 plate. The screws are torx head . Remove the bolts underneath. Lower is pretty self explanatory Hope this helps Mark VII Heaven.
To remove the inlet manifold from a 1990 Ford KF Laser with a carburetor, first disconnect the battery and remove any accessories or components obstructing access to the manifold, such as the air cleaner and intake hoses. Next, detach the carburetor by unscrewing it from the manifold and disconnecting any linked throttle or choke cables. Then, remove the manifold bolts in a crisscross pattern to prevent warping, and lift the manifold off the engine. Be sure to clean the mating surfaces before reinstallation to ensure a proper seal.
There was no 1990 Chrysler Cirrus. Look on the intake manifold or hoses for the intake temp sensor.
remove the air filter pan assembly and the 15-20 intake bolts clean gasket area replace n re bolt down
it is located on the drivers side of the engine under the air intake manifold
